Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things roofers ask most.

Why didn't my text send?

A few common causes: your usage balance ran too low and the card on file needs attention, the person you're texting replied STOP at some point and can't be texted again or texting compliance on your number is still finishing setup. Check your usage balance first: that's the most common reason a text quietly fails to go out.

Can my crew have their own login?

Yes. Add each crew member as their own user with their own login, so the office and the field are looking at the same leads and conversations instead of sharing one password.

How do I change my business hours?

Business hours live in your account settings: that's what controls things like after-hours auto-replies and what shows as available on your booking calendar. If you can't find it, check with whoever manages your account.

Where do my Facebook leads go?

Once your Facebook page is connected, leads from your Facebook and Instagram ads land in Contacts automatically. If a follow-up action is set up for that lead form, each new lead also starts an Inbox thread and sends you a notification, so it's worth confirming that follow-up is wired up, not just the connection itself.

How do I stop texting someone who opted out?

You don't have to do anything: it's automatic. Once someone replies STOP, the system marks them opted out and blocks any future texts to that number. That's a carrier compliance rule, not a setting you can turn off.

Can I use my existing phone number?

Usually, yes: existing numbers can often be transferred in rather than starting over with a new one. Ask whoever manages your account about porting your number; it takes a few business days and needs to be timed carefully so you don't drop calls during the switch.

How do I send a review request?

Open the customer's record (or the Reputation section) and click Send Review Request, then choose text or email. They get a one-tap link to leave you a review. It lands best the day the job passes final inspection, while they're still happy about the new roof.

What happens if my usage balance runs out?

If your balance runs out and the card on file can't be charged, sending texts and making calls can stop until the balance is refilled, including mid-job. Keep auto-top-up turned on and your card current so a busy week never turns into a paused number.
